Visit with baby Noah

We got to spend time with our nephew Noah this weekend. He is getting so big and just loved Troy. He couldn't stop laughing. I got to have lunch with Holli my best friend since the 3rd grade. We had such a great time. (Iphone in a dark room = bad picture)

Armoire Makeover

 Took some time off and decided to stay home and get so much needed stuff around the house done.  I try to be an organized person but it never really seems to work out for me.  So I was cleaning the dining room table and when I opened our Armoire to put more junk in it I realized there was nothing in there that we ever used.  So I pulled everything out and took 95% to goodwill and the 5% we kept found a new home.  This has now become my craft closet and I love it!!!!  I just got my new cricut and decided it was time to sit down and cut something.  I found this adorable dress that I cut out and hung in the back so I could take pictures of longer necklaces.  It really turned out adorable.  I still have some more organizing to get it just right but I am on my way!  I also had the jewelry organizer for when I sold avon for all of my samples and it is just perfect for all my small supplies so I can see quickly what I need instead of digging through drawers.

Birthday Celebration Continues....

So what's a birthday celebration without cake and ice cream?  It feels like it has been forever since I have had any and I loved every bite!

Birthday Celebration

I have been on the low carb diet for 2 months and proudly can say that I have lost 17 lbs!  Wow it is amazing how much better I feel every day.  But since we are celebrating my birthday I want CARBS and am going to have them with no regrets or guilt!  So our day started off at the Ole' South Pancake House in Ft Worth.  I have never been but I assure you I will definitely be going back.  As much as I wanted pancakes I had french toast and it was soooo good.  BF had pancakes so I just opened a path to his plate and had a few bites off the back. 

Twilight Saga Book Club

Several of my closest friends are re-reading the entire Twilight Saga before Breaking Dawn part 1 is released.  We have decided to read 3 chapters a week and wiill finish the final three of Breaking Dawn the week prior to the movie release.  I have to say stopping at three is not easy but I am really going to enjoy reading it slowly and really catch everything.  So here is my latest necklace that I have made since I have justed started reading Twilight again.You are my life now

Did you miss me?

I have had so much going on lately that there just is not enough time in the day.  So I am going to work at posting even if it is something short more than once a week.  So if you are wondering what I have been up to lately I am happy to say a lot.  I finally finished my book for all my scrabble tiles and my order has been placed.  I can't wait to get it!  It turned out so adorable don't you think?  I plan on putting them out at store counters like flower shops or consignment store or maybe even antique malls.  So much of what I do is custom that making a bunch hoping they will sell just doesn't work for me.  I also was contacted by someone who is interested in my military charms.  She is looking to purchase 100 of each branch so this could be a huge deal for my business.  Wish me luck.  I know my stuff is good quality so I am hoping I hear back from her soon.
